Apex heart institute is accredited by the Joint Commission International (JCI) and the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH) as a commitment to our quality policy. Our quality coordinators under the direction of our medical Director have developed the culture of quality and safety for patients and staff alike at the institute. The Joint Commission International (JCI) is a U.S based accreditation body dedicated to improving healthcare quality and safety around the world. The Joint Commission strives to continuously improve the safety and quality of care provided to the public through the provision of healthcare accreditation and related services that support performance improvement in healthcare organizations. Since 1951, The Joint Commission has maintained state-of-the-art standards that focus on improving the quality and safety of care provided by healthcare organizations. Its comprehensive accreditation process evaluates an organization’s compliance with these standards and other accreditation requirements. Joint Commission accreditation is recognized as a symbol of quality that reflects an organization’s commitment to meeting certain performance standards. To earn and maintain The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval an organization must undergo a rigorous on-site survey by a Joint Commission survey team at least every three years. JCI is a benchmark for quality healthcare worldwide. We have met the international set of standards laid by JCI covering, infection control, facility Safety, medication management, patient safety, quality of care and evidence based practice guidelines. This accreditation stands testimony to our commitment towards patient safety and continuous quality improvement. We achieved the accredited status for JCI Standards on Jan 27 2018 and are reaccredited from 15 May 2021 through 14 May 2024.

Apex Heart Institute was established in AUG 2012 to provide high quality cardiac care to patients from all over India and from other nations including US. Since the beginning, we have concentrated not only on the quality of clinical care but also on the excellence of our systems to provide a clean and comfortable atmosphere to all our patients with predictable outcome for all the services provided by us. We have followed a policy of transparent functioning in which the patients are provided with all the information they need related to their disorders and their treatment modalities. Through this the patients are encouraged to make informed decisions. We are able to do this by putting in most modern tools and equipment required to manage various cardiac disorders under one roof. NABH stands for National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers and is the apex body for quality in healthcare in India With the intention of improving our systems further and to achieve excellence comparable to internationally accepted standards we initiated implementation of NABH in our hospital. Our hospital has passed on all counts to achieve the coveted accredited status and will continue to strive further to keep achieving newer heights in excellence.We achieved the accredited status for NABH Hospitals Standards on JULY 7 2014, and are reaccredited from JULY 7 2020 to JULY 6 2024.
